Wusum Win
The Wusum Ballers are the champions of the Makeni Basktball Tournament which concluded yesterday with a thrilling battle in which the former faced off against their city rival, Blazers.
Wusum trailed the Blazers for the first 3 quarters were able to battle back in 4th from strong performances by MVP Mamud Marrah, Tompay, and Musa Jarray.
We also saw excellent performances by several Blazers players including Michael Paquetta, Coach Israel, and PoMan.
This was the biggest basketball event yet to take place at StarBurst Park courtesy of the excellent organizational effort by Coach Joyian and Coach Blasmo.
